dispute between two brothers involving the amount of time being spent in the bathroom sent one brother to the hospital, and the other to jail.
The Jamestown Police Department says 19 year old Thomas A. Dodson of Jamestown was arrested early Friday morning and has been charged with aggravated assault, a Class C felony after cutting off the top two inches of his 20 year old brother’s forefinger, and lacerating his back with a sword. Police say the altercation began as the two brothers were arguing about too much time being spent in the bathroom.
The 20 year old brother was taken to Jamestown Hospital for his injuries by his father, and later transported to Fargo.
Bond for Thomas Dodson has been set at $20,000. Aggravated assault carries a mandatory two years in prison upon conviction.
