North Dakota Aeronautics Commission recently awarded grants to airports throughout the state, and the Jamestown Regional Airport received every dollar they asked for.
Airport manager Matthew Leitner says they asked and received a total just under $57,000 for various airport improvements.
$40,173 will go towards the new terminal scheduled to be completed in November, $7,725 will go towards the purchase of a broom truck for snow light removal, $3,250 for airfield markings and improving the runways, and $5,500 will go towards new operations vehicles.
$2.3 million in total grants were distributed across the state.
