CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–Senior Erika Anderson continued to lead the Hi-Liner girls golf team yesterday at Devils Lake.

Anderson broke through with a top-10 finish, finishing ninth with an 86.  It was a big improvement from a 114 turned in at Grand Forks Country Club to start the season Friday, and a step up from a 92 Anderson carded at Crossroads Golf Course in Carrington Saturday.

The Hi-Liners had their first team finish of the year yesterday, finishing ninth with a 415, 50 shots ahead of Fargo Shanley, and just 14 shots out of sixth place.

The story of the Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) thus far has been Fargo DAvies.  The Eagles have won every meet so far, including the East-West crossover on Saturday in Carrington.

The Hi-Liners golf in an EDC meet at Bois De Sioux, hosted by Wahpeton, Thursday.
