CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–Fargo Davies showed why they are front-runners in the Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) volleyball race Thursday night in Valley City.

The Eagles swept the HI-Liners in dominating fashion (25-12, 24-14, 25-22) to improve to 5-0 in EDC play, dropping the Hi-Liners to 0-4.  The match was worth two EDC points last night, and was the Hi-Liner home opener.

The Hi-Liners now have a week off before hosting their annual Optimist Tournament, an event that draws several teams to the community and occupies almost every gymnasium.  That event is next Saturday.
