CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner tennis team was swept out of it’s last two Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) matchups.

Valley City dropped 9-0 decisions to Fargo North Tuesday and Fargo Davies Thursday, dropping to 0-5 in EDC play.

The Hi-Liners were more competitive in both cases, earning set victories and tightening up matches.  Facing North Tuesday, Dustin Miller took a set in his singles match, and all three doubles matches were competitive.

Miller, Austin Ross, and Wyatt Reinhart all took the first sets of their singles matches against North, and all three doubles matches saw competitive sets.

The Hi-Liners will play out of the region today, hosting Mandan in a 3-2 lineup match in preparation for regional tournament play.  They will then participate in the West Fargo Invitational Tournament Saturday.
