CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–Viking golf is showing improvement at Dickinson in their latest loop.

The Vikings are currently in third place in an event hosted by Dickinson State.  Valley City State turned in a day one score of 307 yesterday, five back of Dickinson State, and 12 off the pace of meet-leader Jamestown College.

Ryan Mehus (Sr., Finley, ND) led the Vikings yesterday with a 73, tied for third overall.  Taylor Hendrickson (Sr., Barnesville, MN) fired a 75, and Ryan Lenoue (Soph., Barnesville, MN) added a 78.

Day two of the meet is today.  This coming weekend takes the Vikings to Jamestown, and they have a home meet to end September on the 25th.
