Bismarck retained the top spot in Class AAA and Wahpeton gained the No. 1 ranking in Class AA in this week’s high school football polls.

Bismarck retained a slender lead on No. 2 Century. The teams square off in a key West Region showdown on Friday. Mandan, which remained in the No. 3 spot, will host No. 4 Minot.

In Class AA, Wahpeton replaces Fargo Shanley at the top. Minot Ryan is ranked third.

The polls are conducted by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
