CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–It was a bit of a setback for the Hi-Liner girls golf team at Kings Walk in Grand Forks yesterday.

The Hi-Liners finished ninth with a team 431 at the full Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) meet yesterday.  The team was 19 shots out of the top six positions.

Erika Anderson shot a 104 to lead Valley City, a rough day after an 86 that qualified her for the state individual meet in her last outing at Village Green.

Kassidy Ronningen and Nicole Spenningsby each shot 106, with Sara Gilbertson firing a 115.

Fargo Davies won the event with a 350, continuing their dominance of the EDC this season.  They have won every conference meet and the East-West crossover.

The next action for the Hi-Liners will be Monday at Fargo Country Club, an event hosted by Fargo Shanley.
