N.D.- Four weeks into the season, the Jamestown High School football team is still in search of win number one after suffering a 33-0 at Dickinson Friday night

The Midgets used some big plays to  spark the victory. Sophomore running back Michael Cherwinski busted loose for a 85 yard td run with 5 minutes remaing in the first quarter to stake his team to a 7-0 lead. Senior running back Jamie Kuntz hauled in a 14 yd td pass with  40 seconds left in the half to hike the lead to 13-0 at the break.

Dickinson recieved the second half kick off and started on their own 30; a swing pass to Cherwinski turned into a 70 yard score, and 22 seconds into the third, the Jays were down 20 to zip. The Midgets tacked on two more long strikes in quarter four. Kuntz bolted to pay dirt from 59 yards out, and Levi Jordheim hauled in a 51 yard td pass.

Dickinson had 452 yards of offense, 260 on the ground.  The Jays finished with 133 yards of offense. Blue Jay senior linebacker Collin Kleese had a game high 17 tackles.
