Alex Lind Junior Blue Jay Swimming & Diving
Erin Hart Senior Blue Jay Swimming & Diving
Alex placed 1st in diving at the Bismarck Invite on saturday. She also broke another school record (previously held by Brooke Lukach). This is her third record this season. She is also undefeated so far this season.
Erin took home 2 first place finishes this weekend at the Bismarck Invite (events – 200IM and 100 Backstroke). Erin has the
fastest time in the state for the 100 backstroke and she is also undefeated in that event so far this season.
High School Boys:
Aaron Ford Sophomore Boys’ Blue Jay Cross Country
Aaron, a sophomore at JHS, was the #2 Blue Jay boy to finish the Varsity Boys’ race at the Valley City Duals held at the Valley City Country Club on Saturday, Sept. 17. By completing the 5000 meter course in 18 minutes, 26 seconds, Aaron improved his season-best time by 34 seconds.

Heather Brown Sophomore Jimmie Volleyball Team
Hometown: Montpelier, North Dakota
Heather recorded 35 kills, had a .333 hitting percentage to go along with 14 blocks in 3 matches during the week.
Male College Athlete of the Week
Tommy Rockis Sophomore Jimmie Men’s Golf Team
Hometown: Roseau, Minnesota
Tommy was the medalist in the first conference golf meet of the year at Dickinson State last Sunday-Monday, carding a 75-71–146. Tommy then finished in a tie for 6th in the Jimmie Invitational held in Carrington on Sunday and Monday. Tommy shot a 78-75—153 to help the Jimmies to their 4th straight team title.
