N.D. (AP) – A Jamestown man is dead after a weekend
collision involving a hay rake being towed by another pickup in
Kidder County.

The Highway Patrol says the pickup driven by 36-year-old Ryan
Hust crossed the center line on state Highway 36 near Robinson and
sideswiped the hay rake. Hust’s pickup went in the ditch and
rolled, throwing both him and 28-year-old passenger Travis Fruetel
of Jamestown from the vehicle about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

The patrol says Hust was dead at the scene. Fruetel was flown to
a Bismarck hospital with unspecified injuries. No one in the pickup towing the hay rake was injured.
