City, N.D. – The Pizza Hut store in Valley City closed Monday.

Owner Gwen Dubert says one contributing factor for the closure was the inability to hire workers in Valley City over the last few weeks.

Dubert says we regret that we had to make this decision and we thank the city and the community for their support of the store over the last 24 years.

Dubert says they opened the Valley City Pizza Hut in the late 1980’s. She says at one time the family owned stored in Minot, Bismarck and Grand Forks. She says Valley City was the last store they had in North Dakota.
