City, N.D. – Auditor Avis Richter says the petition signatures to recall Mayor Bob Werkhoven and city commissioner Ken Evenson will be certified on Monday, October 17 and a call for a special election will be on the city commission regular agenda at Monday’s meeting.

She says the special election will be held on Tuesday, January, 24, 2012.

There will be one polling place open from 8am to 7pm in the Valley City Hall commission chamber.
