– The Jamestown College women’s basketball team suffered a 77-70 loss Tuesday night to St. Cloud State, an NCAA Division II team.

The game was an exhibition game for the Jimmies and does not count on their record.

St. Cloud jumped out to a 42-32 lead after the first half of the game at the Jamestown Civic Center. Jamestown rallied in the second half to make it interesting before losing by seven.

Bridget Schuneman led the Jimmies with 14 points on the night. Hannah Steele added 11 points and Kellie Schuneman had 10.

Jessica Benson and Nicole Anderson each had 14 poins to lead St. Cloud.

St. Cloud State made 27 of 31 free throw attempts, which proved to be the difference in the game. Jamestown made 13 of 19 free throw attempts.

Up next: Jamestown (7-1) is off for a week before traveling to University of Minnesota-Morris for a 5:30 p.m. game on Nov. 22.
