– The Jamestown Police Department has notified the public about a high risk registered sex offender living in Jamestown.

25-year-old Brian James Brandner (left) currently resides at 1427 4th Ave. NW #1 in Jamestown. He is a white male with brown hair, and is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds according to a press release from the Jamestown Police Department.

Brandner has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee.

In 2008, Brandner was convicted of Terrorizing in Burleigh Country District Court after threatening to blow up a civic center during graduation ceremonies. In 2002, he was convicted of Criminal Sexual Conduct 3rd Degree in Burleigh County Juvenile Court after engaging in oral sex with a 12-year-old boy on several occasions while in placement at a residential sex offender treatment unit. Brandner was 15 at the time.

In 1996, Brandner was convicted of Indecent Exposure in Burleigh County Juvenile Court after exposing himself on the school playground while in elementary.

Brandner has served all sentences imposed by the court. His latest sentence was three years with 18 months suspended for three years.
