CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner wrestling team will compete in a tournament that has quickly become one of the best in the upper Midwest.

Valley City will compete in the Rumble on the Red Tournament at the FargoDome Thursday and Friday.  It will be their first action since their own holiday tournament on Dec. 17.

The Hi-Liners join 12 other North Dakota teams, 39 Minnesota schools, and a handful of South Dakota, Nebraska, Alaska, and Wisconsin teams.  In all, 58 teams will compete on 19 mats over two days.

The tournament won the 2010 Outstanding Locally Created Event from the National Association of Sports Commissions.  It will feature some of the best talent from the state’s involved.
