CITY, IOWA – The Jamestown College men’s basketball team had its 11-game winning streak come to an end Thursday afternoon in Sioux City, Iowa.

The No. 13 Jimmies were knocked off by No. 22 Morningside, 68-59 during the Briar Cliff Holiday Classic. The loss drops Jamestown’s record to 12-4 after they had won 11 straight non-exhibition games.

Travis Burley led the Jimmies with 14 points in defeat. Drew Preiner had 12 points and Bryon Jones added 11 for Jamestown.

Up next: Jamestown faces No. 29 Briar Cliff at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
