(NewsDakota.com) The start of the march towards the 2012 Dickey County Relay For Life is on Sunday, February 12 at the Angry Beaver Lodge in Oakes for the Kick Off event.

The event is from 5-7 p.m. on the 12th at the Angry Beaver Lodge in Oakes. A short program will commence at 6:30 p.m. with words from Steven Thompson, who has had his own battle with cancer, and his wife/caretaker Becky.

A baked potato bar will be served, along with a dessert and beverages for a free will offering, with all proceeds going to the 2012 Relay For Life in Dickey County.
