CITY (NewsDakota.com) The recall election is Today in Valley City.
Election workers tell newsdakota.com that voting has been steady today since the doors opened at 8am. A spokeswoman says nearly 660 absentee ballots have been cast.
The ballot counting will be done by hand and the results will be broadcast as soon as possible on KOVC 1490 AM and posted on newsdakota.com as soon as possible.
Former Police Chief Dean Ross is running against Mayor Bob Werkhoven.
While, City Commissioner Ken Evenson is being challenged by Fireman Duane Magnuson.
The only poll open to vote today is inside the city hall commission chamber room from now until 7pm.
