Two Fargo Men Caught Burglarizing Farmstead Near Oriska

VALLEY CITY (NewsDakota.com) Two Fargo men were caught red handed burglarizing a farmstead north of Oriska on Thursday.

Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin says a neighbor saw some suspicious activity, called it in and a deputy responded immediately to catch Julian Bernath and Mark Miller in the act of burglary.

The farmstead owner Warren Aune (Ah-knee) of New Rockford says a neighbor, who watches his property found a lock cut off a garage door earlier this week that stores electronic components.

McClaflin says the 34-year-old men face felony theft and burglary charges after they allegedly sold some of the scrap metal in Fargo. The burglary and theft remains under investigation.
