CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Viking mens basketball team hopped up two spots in this week’s National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national poll, while the women managed to hold ground among independents.

The men moved up to #17 in this week’s national poll after an 71-68 overtime win at Dickinson State Saturday.  They retain their #2 ranking among independent teams.

The women held onto their #2 ranking among independents, despite an overtime loss at Dickinson State 58-53 Saturday.  

Both teams face Jamestown College Wednesday night in Jamestown.  Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
