(NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County North girls basketball team improved its season record to 7-8 Tuesday night with a 51-48 win over Central Prairie in District 5 play.

Lauren McMillan scored 15 points and Emily Albrecht added 12 to help the Bison come out on top in the tight contest. Sydney Reimers added eight points for BCN.

Courtney Heupel led Central Prairie with 12 points, and Madi Moldenhaurer scored 11.

Up next: Barnes County North hosts Litchville-Marion-Montpelier on Thursday for a District 5 game at North Central School. Central Prairie hosts PBK on Saturday in Medina.
