(NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County North girls basketball team won its third game in a row Thursday night, fighting its way back to a .500 record with a 61-36 District 5 victory over Litchville-Marion-Montpelier.

Emily Albrecht went off for 17 points in the first half and 21 in the game as she helped BCN improve its season record to 8-8. SaraLi Petersen added 13 points for the Bison and Sydney Reimers had seven.

Tanys Ulmer had 12 points for LMM, and Brenna Rodin chipped in nine.

Barnes County North ends the District 5 schedule with a 5-1 record. They have three non-district games left on the regular season schedule, starting Feb. 7 at Mayport-CG.

LMM is at Oakes on Saturday.
