(NewsDakota.com)- The hockey and basketball fans in the area will have plenty of options to take in a game Saturday in Jamestown.

The Blue Jay boys hockey team will host the Devils Lake Firebirds at Wilson Arena with the puck dropping at 7:30pm. Mark McKenzie will have the call for you on 103.1 The Raven with the pregame show about 7:10.

A blizzard is in the forecast for Jerry Meyer Arena when the Turtle Mountain Braves come to town. Bring a $5 donation or a non-perishable food item to the game and receive a free “Blue Jay Blizzard” t-shirt. The Jamestown Basketball Boosters are sponsoring the event.

The girls will start at 5:45pm and the boys will follow.

The game can be heard on the radio at KQDJ-AM 1400 with Jason Metko calling the action.

For just the third time in the past month, the Jamestown College Jimmie basketball teams will be hosting a game at the Civic Center. The Dickinson St. Blue Hawks will the opponent. Both Jimmie teams are ranked in the top-11 nationally. 

We will have the Jimmies for you on the radio at KXGT Sunny 98.3 FM beginning around 5:15pm.
