CITY (NewsDakota.com) A 29-year-old Valley City man faces several counts of felony Burglary, Attempted Burglary and Theft charges in connection with several Break-ins reported in Valley City over a 3 week period.

Interim Police Chief Mark McDonald says Corey Koebernick was arrested for his alleged involvement in the burglaries of C-H Carpenter Lumber, Picks N Pins beauty salon and the attempted break-in of Valley Drug.

McDonald says cash, tools and other items were taken in the Burglaries. Evidence from 2 other Valley City business burglaries is being checked out to see if there is a connection to the other break-ins. Koebernick is being held in the Barnes County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.
