(NewsDakota.com) Friday the Oakes High School girls basketball team plays their final game of the regular season as they host the Lisbon Broncos.

Currently, the Tornadoes are the #2 seed in District 1 at 5-1, and Oakes still has a shot at winning the regular season district title, but they need some help. If Oakes wins, and Hankinson upsets North Sargent Friday night, the Tornadoes would be the regular season champs.

If Oakes win, and North Sargent prevails, then Oakes will be the #2 seed in the upcoming District 1 Girls Basketball Tournament, and will host an opening round contest. If the Tornadoes lose, and both North Sargent and Milnor win on Friday, then the Tornadoes will still host a playoff game, but be the #3 seed.
