(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown/Stutsman County Development Corporation executive board recommended Monday that the JSDC reduce its funding to the Buffalo City Tourism Foundation starting in 2013.

The board unanimously recommended funding for the BCTF be reduced to $65,000 each year in 2013 and 2014. The BCTF was asking for $135,000, the same amount they received for 2012.

The recommendation now goes before the Stutsman County Commission and Jamestown City Council for approval. If approved, the reduced funds would force the BCTF to redo its upcoming budget for 2013.
