CITY (NewsDakota.com) Supporters of a proposed constitutional amendment to preserve wildlife and natural resources in North Dakota will make a pitch for their case during a public meeting in Valley City on Wednesday.

A spokesperson with the North Dakota Heritage group will give a presentation Wednesday night inside the VFW Club in conjunction with the Barnes County Wildlife Clubs regular monthly meeting at 7pm.

Known as the North Dakota Clean Water, Lands and Outdoor Heritage amendment the measure would use five percent of the state’s oil and gas extraction and production tax revenue to create a fund to sustain the quality of the state’s natural resources.
