OAKES (NewsDakota.com) A transformer in the southwest part of Oakes knocked out power to the southwest section for a little more than a half hour on Monday.
An Otter Tail Power crew quickly responded to the site of the transformer in the 200 block of Kola Avenue.
Power went out around 9:45 a.m., and was restored around 10:20 a.m.
