(NewsDakota.com) The Minnesota Twins honored one of their all time greats on Saturday morning before their game versus the Texas Rangers. First Baseman Kent Hrbek was presented with his statue outside of Gate 14 and his restaurant.

Hrbek played all his 14 years in the major leagues in Minnesota from 1981 to 1994, and helped the Twins win the World Series in 1987 and 1991.

Hrbek now joins Rod Carew, Tony Oliva, Kirby Puckett and Harmon Killebrew as those who have statues placed on the grounds of Target Field.
