(NewsDakota.com) Two boys on the Oakes High School Track and Field teams qualified last week for the State Class B Meet in Bismarck, and now the girls will have some representation during the Memorial Day weekend event.

Nicole Warren has qualified in the Javelin with a throw of 120 feet eight inches. The State qualifying mark is 115 feet for Class B Girls.

Warren will also be competing in the 4 x 800 relay along with Ashley Petersen, Shelby Roney and Shelby Gelinske. The girls qualified with a time of 10 minutes 10.4 seconds.
