(NewsDakota.com) The walk-off is becoming all too common at Townsend Field in LaMoure during the 2012 baseball season.

Once again, the boys from LaMoure-Litchville/Marion found a way to win in dramatic fashion, pushing two runs across in the bottom of the seventh, to take down the Enderlin/Maple Valley Falcons 3-2 on Monday afternoon.

With the bases loaded and one out, Tyler Theliges delivered a hard shot at the Falcon’s pitcher Tanner Groth, who could not field the hit property. Upon seeing Devin Peterson attempting to score to tie the game, Groth’s throw went past his catcher allowing Petersen and Jared Meiklejohn to come home to win the game.

Zach Stemen earned the win for LLM (7-2) allowing three hits in seven innings. Groth took the loss for the Falcons (2-7) striking out 11 in the process.

Next up for the Loboes is their home finale on Tuesday as they welcome Central Cass. First pitch is at 5 p.m. and coverage starts at 4:45 on Q101.1 FM and NewsDakota.com
