(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School 2012 football team will start practicing Wednesday August 8, and will have their first game on the 24th as they host Britton/Hecla South Dakota.

The Tornadoes will then host Linton-HMB the following week on the 31st, to be followed by a road game at Fargo Oak Grove on September 7. On September 14, Oakes hosts Northern Cass, on the 21st, they visit Kidder County, and to end the month a home contests versus Milnor/North Sargent.

In October, the Tornadoes will be on the road twice; at MayPort/CG on the 5th and in Enderlin against Enderlin/Maple Valley on the 12th.
