(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jays are the No. 4 seed for the West Region Baseball Tournament starting Thursday in Williston.

The Blue Jays open the double-elimination tournament at 4:45 p.m. Thursday against No. 5 Minot. Jamestown went 4-0 against Minot during the regular season.

Jamestown finished the regular season with a 20-12 overall record and a 7-7 record in WDA play after sweeping Minot on Saturday. Minot went 13-13 overall and was also 7-7 in WDA play.

Mandan is the top seed in the tournament. Dickinson is No. 2 and Bismarck Century is No. 3. The top four teams qualify for the state tournament. Click here for a complete bracket.
