CITY (NewsDakota.com) The Lisbon High School boys and girls track and field teams each took first place at the Region I Track and Field Meet in Valley City on Saturday.

On the boys side, the Broncos took first with a team total of 199 points, followed by Kindred, Milnor/Wyndmere/Lidgerwood, Sargent County, and Central Cass. The Bronco girls finished first with 131 points, followed as well by Kindred, Milnor/Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Sargent County, and Central Cass.

Individual winners are as follows with the girls champion listed first, followed by the boys champion:

100 Meter Dash: Paige Slemmons from Central Cass and Nathan Mangin from Lisbon

200 Meter Dash: Natalie Jones and Nathan Mangin from Lisbon

400 Meter Dash: Alexandra Erickson and Eric Bachmeier from Kindred 

800 Meter Run: Alexandra Erickson from Kindred and Zachery Ulmer from Lisbon

1600 Meter Run: Peyton Frolick from Milnor/Wyndmere/Lidgerwood and Dalton Herding from Hankinson/Fairmont

3200 Meter Run: Tess Scott and Cody Christ from Barnes County North

100 Meter Hurdles: Natalie Jones from Lisbon and Jeffery Illies from Milnor/Wyndmere/Lidgerwood

300 Meter Hurdles: Natalie Jones and Zachary Ulmer from Lisbon

4 x 100 Meter Relay: Lisbon and Sargent County

4 x 200 Meter Relay: Northern Cass and Lisbon

4 x 400 Meter Relay: Oakes and Kindred

4 x 800 Meter Relay: Oakes and Kindred

High Jump: Faith Dooley from Central Cass and Nicolas Anderson from Lisbon

Pole Vault: Brittany Dixon and Hunter Gossett from Fargo Oak Grove

Long Jump: Chelsey Anderson from Sargent County and Jenner Manske from Lisbon

Triple Jump: SaraLi Peterson from Barnes County North and Jeffery Illies from Milnor/Wyndmere/Lidgerwood

Shot Put: Olivia Johnson and Jack Plankers from Richland

Discus: Michaela Halverson from Milnor/Wyndmere/Lidgerwood and Jack Plankers from Richland

Javelin: Olivia Johnson from Richland and Luis Vasquez from Milnor/Wyndmere/Lidgerwood

The State Class A and B Track and Field Meet is this Friday and Saturday at the Bismarck Community Bowl.
