Teacher Accused Of Picking Up Student By The Head In Wimbledon

(NewsDakota.com) The Barnes County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a report that a teacher picked up a 3rd grade male student by the head in the Wimbledon-Courtenay public school district earlier this month.

Sheriff Randy McClaflin said the mother of the student filed a report Tuesday about the alleged May 9th incident at the school.

McClaflin said right now investigators are interviewing a number of people to get the story and so far no charges have been filed against anyone.
