N.D. (AP) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed Saturday night on Interstate 94 near Jamestown.

The patrol says 39-year-old Bradley Myhre of Jamestown was killed in the accident, which happened just after 10 p.m. near mile marker 259.

The patrol says authorities were en route to the area prior to the crash on a report of a man waving at traffic.

Police say Myhre entered the roadway through the median and was struck by an eastbound 2008 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 55-year-old Gary Dobier, of Mandan.

The crash remains under investigation.
