(NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota State Bar Association conducted a poll of the membership, as a service to the people of North Dakota, on the contested judicial elections for 2012.

In the District 8 race Barnes County Assistant State’s Attorney Brad Cruff scored higher than incumbent Judge Richard Grosz of Wahpeton.

Members of the State Bar Association of North Dakota were asked to rate the qualifications of each applicant in several categories using a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest.

In nearly every category Cruff received approval scores of 70 percent or higher while Grosz received scores of 62 to 68 percent. The two are running in the District 8 judicial race and are on the June 12 Primary Election.
