City (NewsDakota.com) The city approved of a preliminary engineering agreement with Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson to work on Hydraulic Analysis for the U-S Army Corps of Engineers Feasibility Study on permanent flood protection in Valley City.

City Commissioner Matt Pedersen says the engineering firm will give Valley City a local voice as the federal agency works on the study.

Pedersen says the Feasibility Study in Valley City should be completed by November.
