Fargo Police Smash Window To Save Unresponsive Child In a Hot Vehicle

N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A child was found in a locked car with the windows up in the parking lot of Walmart in Fargo Friday.

Police broke a window. Lt. Joel Vettel says the 4-year-old was unresponsive at first. He was told the child will likely be okay.

A locksmith was on the way when police decided to smash a window. The child’s mother was located. Cass County Social Services will investigate the incident.
