Des Plaines, IL (NewsDakota.com)–Valley City Post 60 American Legion baseball picked up a win in the sectional standings, knocking off Harwood 10-2 in the first fame of a doubleheader Monday.
Chase Carpenter earned the win, allowing three hits. He also did well at the plate, going 4-5 with two RBI. Jaden Keys was 3-4 with a pair driven in.
The second game was called due to darkness after two innings, tied at 4-4.
Post 60 now has two days off, and willb host Kindred on Thursday.
