Luke & Nielson Elected to Valley City Commission

Valley City, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Retired Physician Madaline Luke and Former Valley City Mayor Mary Lee Nielson were both elected to the city commission in Tuesday’s election.

Nielson congratulated Madaline Luke on her victory and getting elected to a city commission seat on Tuesday.

Former Mayor Mary Lee Nielson, is now city commissioner elect in Valley City.

Luke was the top voter getter with 1,077 votes followed by Nielson who received 1,012 votes in the Tuesday election. Valley City businessman Robert Drake got 860 votes, former city commissioner Ken Evenson had 484 and Arthur Frieze had 199 votes.
