EDGELEY (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Edgeley is celebrating its 125th anniversary this weekend with a jam-packed slate of events.

Opening ceremonies are Friday at noon, but events begin Thursday night with a Firemen’s Chicken BBQ and Fireman’s Rodeo at 5 p.m.

Other major events include the Edgeley Meat Vendor Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, free swimming at Edgeley’s new pool which opened this summer, dances on both Friday and Saturday night, and a rodeo on Saturday evening.
