(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is notifying the public of a high risk registered sex offender.

44-year-old James Kermit Hanenberg has changed addresses at the North Dakota State Hospital. He now lives at 2308 Circle Drive, a transitional residence on the campus of the Jamestown Hospital.

Hanenberg is described as a 5-foot-9 white male, weighing 230 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.

In 2006 in Cass County District Court, Hanenberg was convicted of corruption and solicitation of a minor after pushing a minor female to the ground and having forcible intercourse with her.

In 1987 in Barnes County District Court, Hanenberg was convicted of gross sexual imposition after engaging in sexual acts with two girls, ages 3 and 6, over a period of four years.

Hanenberg is not wanted by police and has served the sentence imposed by the court. He will be placed on GPS monitoring.
