N.D. (AP) – Bishop Samuel Aquila has given his final Mass in Fargo after about a decade of service there. The outgoing bishop of the Fargo Roman Catholic Diocese gave his farewell Mass on Sunday at Saint Mary’s Cathedral. Aquila is headed to Colorado, where he will preside over the Archdiocese of Denver. He begins his duties there on July 18th. Aquila says he’s excited about the move but will miss Fargo, its people and church members. The Fargo diocese covers the eastern half of North Dakota and has about 84,000 members.
