(NewsDakota.com) – Dan Buchanan and Steve Brubakken will be sworn in as new Jamestown City Council members Tuesday during a special meeting at Jamestown City Hall.

It is the final meeting of the current city council and the organizational meeting of the new council. City council members Ken Schulz and Pat Nygaard are outgoing council members. They chose not to run for re-election in June.

Buchanan and Brubakken were elected to fill their seats. Longtime council member Charlie Kourajian was re-elected to his council seat during the June election. Tuesday’s meeting is at 4 p.m.
