N.D. (AP) – A state task force has conducted random compliance checks at various construction sites in Williston and found that most companies are complying with state laws. Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem says the task force inspected 32 sites involving 70 contractors. He says the task force found seven unlicensed contractors. Work has been suspended at the sites of three contractors until they obtain required licenses. The remaining four unlicensed contractors had not started work and have been prohibited from working in North Dakota until they are properly licensed. The task force also identified two illegal workers who were turned over to federal Border Patrol agents.
