CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–A group of Valley City State University sorority members will meet to discuss searching for a Valley City woman missing for two days.

Trina Lee of the VCSU Philomathian Sorority says the group will meet at 6:30 this evening to discuss their options in searching for 22-year-old Amber Glatt, who was reported missing July 4th by her boyfriend.  Glatt is a VCSU student and a Philomathian member.

Lee says the search will likely consist of camping venues, due to a tent that has gone missing from Glatt’s apartment in Valley City.  Lee says Glatt’s mother had recently sent Glatt a new tent in preparation of a camping trip in the near future.  The tent is described as a small, red, sleeping-bag-style tent.

Glatt’s boyfriend searched the apartment, but was unable to locate the tent, leading the group to believe that Glatt likely has the tent with her.

Valley City Police requested information from the public yesterday.  Officer Pat Sand says Glatt may be driving a silver Mittsubishi Lancer with rear driver’s side window broken out. This vehicle has Virginia license plates XFK1538.

Sand says Amber is white about 5’4″ tall and weighs 96 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown medium length hair. She was reported missing by her boyfriend on July 4.

Acting Valley City police Chief Mark McDonald told NewsDakota.com that Glatt has gone missing before and that she suffers from reoccurring amnesia. These episodes last from 4 to 6 weeks.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Amber Marcia Glatt should call the Valley City Police Department at 701-845-3110.
