CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–After a few days away from baseball, the Valley City Post 60 American Legion baseball team is in action tonight against Lidgerwood in sectional play.

Post 60 placed fourth, winning a game and dropping two, in the Leevers Classic tournament in Valley City last weekend.  After a 15-3 loss to Kindred in Sunday’s final round, the team took three days off for the Independence Day holiday, and returned to practice yesterday.

Both games will count in sectional play tonight.  Lidgerwood was short of players when they were to host Valley City back on June 28th.  Tonights games will be in Valley City, with gametime set for 5:30 p.m.
