(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Post 14 Legion baseball team took second place during a tournament in Devils Lake this past weekend.

Post 14 went 2-2 at the tournament, with both losss coming to Wahpeton by one run. In pool play, Jamestown defeated the Fargo Metro Expos by a score of 14-7, but lost to Wahpeton 1-0.

After pool play, Jamestown made the semifinals where they beat Rolette 7-3, setting up a rematch with Wahpeton in the championship game.

Jamestown held a 5-4 lead entering the bottom of the seventh inning, but Wahpeton plated a single run in the seventh to force extra innings and then won it in the eighth inning.

Jamestown is in action again Tuesday when they host Aberdeen at Jack Brown Stadium.
